Hi, Thanks for the video. Recently i had my pumps replaced after breaking down & running issues. Once they were done all was fine until the same day i lost all power & the fuel gauge went back to not showing correctly. First i thought it was an air pocket but the fuel gauge not showing me whats in my tank is telling me there is an issue again, any ideas ?

Can anybody recommend some H7 LED bulbs that fit the Cayenne 958 that don't flicker? I've tried two mid priced models and they both flicker after 1-2 days.

Do you find the 996 is gearbox oil brand sensitive? I'm thinking of dropping my 996's gearbox oil and using Redline which I've had great results with in years gone by (VR4, 205 GTI, WRX...) love to hear your thoughts and thanks for the videos

Instead of replacing the cable would it be okay to remove old crimp lug and put new crimp lugs? one for the starter motor cable and one for the alternator cable? And still achieve what you have shown in the video?? Thanks

Hi, did u use to manage the fault?

Check the oil solenoid valves. Take them out and clean them. I had the same issue and after I cleaned the solenoid valves car was back to best. No engine light

Thank for your video mate , just wanna ask you , after I changed my alternator on 2013 Porsche cayenne gts put all back together new coolant,ready to start car won’t start no even one crank,scanner it with AUTEL scanner it shows me 15 faults before I scanned it have no faults, I checked all fuses front left cowl front right side dash nothing blown with fuses on battery as well as it’s new AGM one month old before find out it’s alternator,,, do you reckon when alternator stopped doing his job a high purge voltage pass some how to engine ecu burn it as my scanner can’t communicate with ecu ? The problem is with the commutators on the armature of the starter. They were oily/greasy on my friend's 997. I cleaned the commutators and installed a new brush plate and rebuilt the rest of the starter.

The drain is a common issue on these models. Some owners will cut the drain plug nipple so it doesn't get clogged as easy. Would be a good idea to also check the front drains and complete the same modification.

The owner's manual is very clear in explaining that you don't need to do all of that removal. There's a maintenance cover that pops right out giving direct access to the battery terminals. What a disaster.

The video focuses on the wrong spot at exactly the wrong moment. The little tab that was covered in paint moves slightly away from the centre with a sharp thin screw driver, then you pull the whole widget up - easy. Thank you, though. My little hose popped off because of a clogged diesel particle filter (DPF). I ran the engine at 2,500 RPM for 35 minutes with braces on the accelerator and brake pedals, and that cleared the DPF. Then I re-attached the hose. That also cleared the "check engine" light and lit noodle showing fuel flow problems.
